This might be the strangest collection in our Accor guide. That's exactly why it works. Angsana, Pullman and Mantis aren't three versions of the same hotel. They aren't even trying to give us the same vacation. Angsana makes us think about the resort. Pullman makes us think about the city. Mantis makes us think about everything waiting beyond the hotel. And that's an important distinction for travelers. Sometimes the hotel is the destination. Sometimes the hotel needs to put us in the middle of the destination. And sometimes we traveled halfway around the world because there's something outside that hotel we came specifically to experience. Resort. City. Adventure. The trip tells us which one we need.

Accor's Premium & Destination collection shows just how different an Accor stay can look depending on where we're going.
With Mantis, Pullman and Angsana, the experience moves from safari lodges and destination-driven escapes to modern city hotels and tropical resorts. There isn't one signature Accor experience here. The variety is the experience.
For Black travelers, that gives us room to travel differently from one trip to the next. We can use Pullman as our polished home base in a major city, choose Angsana when the pool, spa and resort are part of the vacation, or find ourselves at a Mantis property where wildlife, nature and the destination outside our room are the entire reason we came.
That's what makes this side of Accor interesting.

About the Brands
These three brands don't ask us to travel the same way. That's exactly why they belong together.
Mantis Hotels is the adventurous one. These are smaller, destination-driven properties where wildlife, nature, conservation and local character can matter more than having a massive resort around us. And we especially like what Mantis represents for Black travel to Africa. Every trip to the continent doesn't have to be ancestry, history and reflection. Those trips matter. But sometimes we came to see the damn lions. Mantis gives us permission to experience Africa as adventure, luxury and vacation too.
Pullman Hotels is the city traveler. Modern rooms, social spaces and locations designed for people who probably have somewhere to be. We could be in town for business, a concert, nightlife, an event or simply because we want to explore the city. Pullman doesn't need to become the vacation. Give us a good room, a good bar and a good location. We'll handle the rest.
Angsana Hotels & Resorts is where we slow it down. Pools, spas, beaches, wellness and resort settings give us a completely different pace. There's still a destination outside the property, and we absolutely want to experience it, but nobody said we have to explore every damn day. Sometimes the itinerary is the pool.
That's the range here.
Mantis gets us into the destination. Pullman puts us in the middle of it. Angsana gives us somewhere to stop moving for a minute.
When is the right time?
The right choice here comes down to what we're actually traveling to do. These aren't three brands competing for the same trip.
Mantis Hotels: Choose Mantis when the destination is the experience. Safari, wildlife, nature, conservation or a trip built around seeing something we simply cannot experience back home. This is when we're willing to trade the predictable big-hotel experience for something more immersive. We didn't come this far to stay inside.
Pullman Hotels: Choose Pullman when we have somewhere to be. Business trips, conferences, concerts, sporting events, nightlife-heavy weekends or exploring a major international city. We want a polished hotel to come back to, but we're not paying for a resort we'll barely use. Put us in the middle of it and give us the keys.
Angsana Hotels & Resorts: Choose Angsana when slowing down is actually the point. Beach vacations, couples trips, wellness escapes or those trips where the pool and spa deserve just as much consideration as whatever is outside the resort. Today might be an excursion. Tomorrow might be absolutely nothing.
The shortcut is simple:
