Meliá Hotels International is one of those hotel companies where saying “I stayed at a Meliá” doesn't tell us nearly enough. Because this portfolio has range. You can find sophisticated luxury hotels, sexy lifestyle properties, Caribbean all-inclusives, family resorts, contemporary city hotels and easier-going vacation stays all under the broader Meliá umbrella. So BlkTravel isn't going to throw every brand into one ranking and pretend they're competing for the same traveler.

We've created three doors. Meliá Elite Luxury is where we go when the hotel needs to be part of the flex. Gran Meliá, ME and The Meliá Collection represent the more elevated side of the portfolio, with stronger emphasis on luxury, design, service and distinctive experiences. Meliá Premier Brands is where a lot of our actual vacations start happening. Paradisus, Meliá Hotels & Resorts and Zel give us everything from all-inclusive beach trips and family vacations to couples escapes and lifestyle-driven stays. Then Meliá Select Brands opens another side of the company through Falcon's Resort by Meliá, INNSiDE by Meliá and Sol by Meliá, giving travelers different ways to experience the portfolio depending on the destination, trip and budget.

And that's really the point of this page. We don't need every Meliá brand to be the same. We need to know which one makes sense for this trip. Are we spending?Bringing the kids? Going all-inclusive? Taking a grown couples trip? Exploring a city? Trying to get the most vacation for the money? Meliá probably has a brand somewhere in the portfolio with an answer.
