@chrystalfortune This hotel’s grand ballroom was the site of the premiere gala for the movie “Gone With the Wind.” The Georgian Terrace Hotel was my home away from home in Midtown Atlanta for one night. I was looking for a moderately priced hotel that was in a really great location to explore the city, and this property fit the bill. The hotel itself, as well as the service were lovely. As it is a historic property, you can see some worn spots throughout, however, the design is charming. I loved my room and will share that in another post; it was quite spacious. In terms of location, I was a 10 minute walk from a lot of the sites that I wanted to see, as well as excellent restaurants. I ended up taking a Lyft once because that walk was uphill and my backpack was heavy lol. I felt safe throughout my stay. There was a conference onsite, so lots of oeople traveling for work. All in all, I was happy with my choice and would give it four stars. I would stay here again when looking for a lovely, reasonably priced hotel.
