South Bank Review
This doesn't really feel like checking into a traditional hotel. And that's the appeal.
South Bank is closer to having the Turks & Caicos house you wish you owned, except somebody else handles the difficult parts. You get contemporary architecture, more room to spread out, water everywhere and the freedom that comes from accommodations designed around actually living in them.
For a group trip, that can completely change the experience. Instead of everybody disappearing into separate hotel rooms every night, you've got spaces where the trip can continue. Breakfast together. Drinks before dinner. Somebody inevitably falls asleep on the couch.
Those little moments are often what people remember. For Black families and friend groups moving beyond the traditional resort vacation, South Bank is one of the newer Turks & Caicos properties we're watching closely.

It's also exactly the type of property we want represented in a Top 20 that will evolve over time. Turks & Caicos isn't frozen in the Grace Bay resort boom of twenty years ago. New developments are changing where travelers stay and what they expect from luxury accommodations.
