Walking into the Marquis for the first time is almost an Atlanta rite of passage. Everybody looks up. Everybody takes the picture. Then you realize the hotel is actually more than the atrium. If you're coming to Atlanta for a major event, this is one of those places that makes the trip feel bigger. It's an icon for a reason, and we think every traveler should experience it at least once.

There are hotels in Atlanta, and then there's the Marquis. Even people who've never stayed here usually recognize the atrium the moment they see it. It's one of the most photographed hotel interiors in America for a reason. Beyond the architecture, the Marquis continues to deliver a dependable full-service experience in the middle of Downtown with easy access to conventions, sporting events and major attractions. It has welcomed everyone from presidents to celebrities, but it has also become one of those hotels where Black organizations, conferences and family reunions gather year after year. That history matters, and it's one of the reasons this hotel still feels relevant decades after opening.
