9 Mile Station Review
9 Mile Station earns #8 because the rooftop is part of a larger destination experience that's difficult for other venues to match. It doesn't have Cafe Circa's cultural energy or RT60's nightlife personality, but the combination of views, food and Ponce City Market makes it one of the easiest rooftops to build into an Atlanta vacation itinerary. 9 Mile Station has an advantage most Atlanta rooftops can't recreate: Ponce City Market is already part of the outing.
You can shop, eat, explore the building and BeltLine, then head upstairs for drinks, dinner and panoramic city views. That makes this especially useful for visitors who want to experience several pieces of Atlanta without spending the night moving from neighborhood to neighborhood. The atmosphere is more destination rooftop than nightclub, so we'd choose it when the view and overall outing matter more than DJs or late-night energy. It also works particularly well for couples and first-time Atlanta visitors.
BlkTravel would choose 9 Mile Station for: first-time visitors, skyline views, dinner and drinks, date nights, Ponce City Market days, and travelers who want a complete Atlanta outing.
