Top Rooftops in Atlanta
(Click the Images for Full Review)
Atlanta looks different from the rooftop. Across the city, rooftops have become part of how Atlanta eats, drinks, dates and goes out. Some are made for cocktails over the skyline. Others turn into full nightlife experiences once the DJ starts. There are sophisticated hotel rooftops, BeltLine hangouts, breweries, neighborhood favorites and places where Black Atlanta comes to be outside.
BlkTravel's list isn't simply a ranking of the highest buildings or most expensive cocktails. We're looking at the experience. That means atmosphere, views, drinks, service, value, location and the crowd all matter. Most importantly, we consider how comfortable Black travelers are likely to feel in the space and whether the experience represents an Atlanta worth discovering.
The result is a list that can take you from a polished date night above Old Fourth Ward to a Black rooftop party on Edgewood, drinks overlooking Downtown, a casual afternoon along the BeltLine or an inexpensive rooftop with some Old Atlanta character. Because the best rooftop depends on what kind of night you're trying to have.
