Buckhead Village District
When you want to shop Buckhead but don't want to spend the afternoon inside a mall. Lenox is where we're sending everybody. Buckhead Village is where we're sending a particular shopper. This is an open-air luxury district built for walking from boutique to boutique, stopping for something to eat, having a drink, people-watching and possibly spending considerably more money than you intended.
The current directory leans heavily into fashion and luxury goods, with shops including Alice + Olivia, COS, Billy Reid, Brown & Co. Jewelers and other premium boutiques. The district itself is designed around landscaped gathering spaces, outdoor walkability, restaurants and shopping rather than the traditional enclosed-mall experience. And that's why it ranks this high.
It doesn't try to be Lenox. If you're looking for 200 stores, cross Peachtree and go to the mall. Buckhead Village is about editing the selection down and elevating the experience. Dress a little better. Walk around. Go inside somewhere you normally wouldn't. Window-shop something ridiculous. Buy something ridiculous if you've got it. Then get lunch.
This is the Atlanta shopping recommendation for the traveler who wants shopping to feel like part of the vacation.

Because #2 shouldn't simply be another giant mall.
Buckhead Village gives us a completely different answer to the same question. It's walkable, upscale, boutique-heavy and built around an afternoon rather than a shopping transaction.
And there's something important about putting this recommendation this high for our audience:
Luxury Atlanta belongs to you too.
You don't need a reason to walk into the store.
