Puttshack Midtown Review
Puttshack turns mini golf into a grown social experience with tech-infused gameplay, automatic scoring, cocktails, food and enough competitive energy to expose exactly how seriously your date takes losing. We support healthy relationships. We also support talking trash over mini golf.
Puttshack takes an activity everybody understands and removes the corny roadside-putt-putt feeling. The courses use automated scoring and interactive challenges, while the room feels much closer to a bar and entertainment venue than a traditional miniature golf course. That's what makes it work for dates.
You don't need to be athletic. You don't need to know how to golf. And if conversation gets quiet, the game gives you something to do until it picks back up. The Midtown location at The Interlock also gives you options after the game instead of making Puttshack the entire night. BlkTravel would choose Puttshack for: playful couples, first dates, double dates, birthdays, cocktails, friendly competition and dates where sitting through a two-hour dinner sounds boring.

Puttshack earns #2 because it's one of Atlanta's easiest activity-date recommendations.
A standard nine-hole game typically takes about 30–45 minutes, and couples can pair it with drinks or food without committing their entire evening to the venue. It loses #1 to The Painted Duck because Painted Duck feels more distinctly Atlanta and gives us a wider variety of games.
But as a pure “we need something fun to do tonight” recommendation, Puttshack is hard to beat.
