Barcelona Wine Bar Review

Barcelona earns #3 because range matters. Northside gives us Atlanta grit. U Bar gives us Black Southside energy. Barcelona gives us the polished neighborhood wine-bar experience. It also excels at something many bars don't: creating an atmosphere where staying for another drink feels natural. For date night especially, that's valuable.

You can actually hear each other, share food, explore the wine list and let the night take its time. Not every great Atlanta bar needs a DJ, hookah or somebody standing on furniture. Sometimes we want wine and somebody we actually like talking to. Barcelona fills that lane. The Inman Park location feels intimate without becoming stuffy, and the wine-and-small-plates format makes it easy to control the night. Stop in for a glass before dinner, make Barcelona dinner itself, or keep ordering tapas and realize two hours later that apparently this was the plan all along.

It's sophisticated without requiring the performance that sometimes comes with Atlanta's upscale nightlife. And putting Barcelona at #3 immediately tells you what this ranking is about. Northside Tavern, U Bar and Barcelona Wine Bar could barely be more different. That's intentional. BlkTravel would choose Barcelona for: wine, date night, tapas, conversation, couples, girls' night and travelers who want something sophisticated without turning the evening into an event.

@chasingreservations If you’re a wine enthusiast, Barcelona Wine Bar in Inman Park should be on your list. We stopped in with intentions on getting a glass, and opted for the “New World, Old School” wine flight to make it a tasting type of vibe. 🍷 #atlantarestaurants #barcelonawinebar #winetasting #thingstodoinatlanta #atlantafoodblogger ♬ So Easy (To Fall In Love) - Olivia Dean
